I wasn't verifying that the parts were correct so chill. I provided my conclusion that the Z-bar is the same based on the illustration which is indeed correct. The illustration is there to allow Cabby to see the same thing I was looking at.

Thank you for posting the parts catalog pic. I wasn't giving you a bad time, just pointing out the facts. This pic applies to 1967/68 F100/350. When you look up the bar in the text, there's a different bar listed for 1966/67.

So which one is pictured, C6TZ-7528-G (1966 F100/250 2WD/F100 4WD from serial number 830,001 & 1967 F100/350) or this one C8TZ-7528-B which is correct for cabby?

I dunno, and I've been looking this jazz up for 41 years. The only way to know is...if you have both to compare.

Fordification is using the CD version of the 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog which is available from hipoparts.com

Oh, and Hio and NumberDummy,
I have the correct Z bar..
From what i've been reading the 300 and the 360's used the same assembly. Its my pivot equalizer on the engine.
I wish I could find a picture of the one I had, but I can't for the life of me. From what I've looked into, i'm looking for the C5TZ-7A535-A pivot..
Any pics be helpful? LMC and other manufacturers don't offer the most clear pics haha

Gee whiz. Are you sure? Did ND verify it for you or did you come to your own conclusion? It would be blasphemous if he doesn't say so...<sarcasm intended>

I found a pic in FTE showing the Z-bar on a 300...It's freaking greasy but at least it gives a shot of the parts in relation to each other. Btw, the builder is going with a hydraulic clutch system so ya might wanna hit him up for that bracket... Here is his build thread showing the donor for his project... a 54 body on a Dentside.

THREE previous times in three different threads, I've told you that 1968/76 F100/350 240/300/360/390 use the same equalizer (Z) bar: C8TZ-7528-B

It's my pivot equalizer on the engine. I'm looking for the C5TZ-7A535-A pivot.
I've told you twice that Carpenter (DC) has the C5TZ-7A535-A pivot for $20.00.

It's illustrated/listed in his 1967/79 truck repro parts catalog on page 31 under this Ford part number.

Open your peepers and read post 13 again...very carefully.

Yea yea like talking to a brick wall and what not. When I looked on DC they didn't even have it! They had one for the 302 and that was it..but before you get your knickers in a twist ill "check again" for confirmation.

I did check beforehand, because I have DC's paper parts catalogs.

C5TZ-7A535-A: Listed/illustrated on page 31 in DC's 1967/79 catalog. Listed/illustrated on page 50 in DC's 1957/66 catalog.

And, there are SIX available NOS from obsolete parts vendors.

I am wondering if the catalog has changed.
I am looking at page 31 in the March 2012 67-79 paper catalog and part (P) in the picture area looks correct.
Problem is when you go to the PN and description you see (C8UZ-7A535-A)
Clutch Release Equalizer Mounting Pivot - w/ 302 V8

Does DC change the first part of the PN on it's reproduction parts?
This will be good info for me to know when trying to look up parts for mine in catalogs.

DC "invents" some part numbers, but AFAIK, does not change the prefix of part numbers of repro parts.

Suggest cabby call Carpenter and ask: 800-476-9653.

If DC doesn't have any, there are 6 available NOS

Good to know, thanks.
Also what about that it says w/302 V8?
I thought the V8's all had a bracket that the pivot attached to.
Can you clarify this?

1969/74 Econoline 302 was the only V8 that used a stud like this.

FYI.. LMC lists an I-6 pivot.

Proceed at your own risk.
