truck was flat out dying, now its starting fine, but idels too high on initial startup. is there a relearn procedure for e replacing the IAC?
did you disconnect the battery after the "cleaning"? doing this should reset the ECM to presets and may help in the elevated idle...depending on how long the the IAC was left malfuntioning. but a slight higher idle after start up is normal for a few seconds.
How high are these RPMs after start up? how long does it take for the idle to come down?
