3" exhaust
Why do most of you not like a 3" exhaust?? I put 3 in my 95 f-150 4x4 with a 302 . I have no cats and they work great. I would say I got more horse power and torque. I noticed when pulling a trailer. I also got more miles per gallon when pulling.

Theres nothing wrong with it. Some people have the uninformed opinion that they lose low end torque by going with larger pipes. This comes from the torque ratings on the primary pipes on headers, which is the only place that exhaust velocity matters. After that you want to run the biggest pipe you can run, but you do run into diminishing returns as you get bigger on the pipe size. 3" should be about right for that 302. That's not to say that bigger wouldn't help, you just wouldn't notice it.
