I currently have some aftermarket wheels and tires on my '49 F1 which I'd like to replace, they are ugly and shot. It is impossible for me to obtain replacement replica wheel in the UK and shipping from the US is expensive. I have been able to find some Ford modular wheels, 16x6.5" with the correct 5x5.5 stud pattern. My question is, does anyone know the correct offset and backspace? Also the correct tire height would be great? My truck has G78-15 aftermarket tires so don't know if these are correct size anyway? The spec of the wheels I have found: 16X6.5 SILVER MODULAR 5-5.5
OFFSET = -6MM
BACKSPACE = 3.5"
CENTER BORE = 4.28"
Best I can tell you is that they should fit. I am running 15x8 with 4" of backspace and have plenty of clearance both front and back with wider tires than stock. Also, the center hole on mine is just over 4.125, so again those would bolt on.

You can run 195 series tires on a 4.5" wide rim, but I wouldn't do it on a 6.5" wide rim. I spent a ton of time digging these up for my aftermarket 6.0"-6.5" rims I bought from Coker Tire (I think mine are 6.0"):
the "perfect" tire is open to interpretation way too much for me to suggest ideal for your situation.
I went with the much cheaper and quite a bit less rare 225 75/16 (insignificantly taller when it comes down to it).
