Agreed Bob. My reason for tilting my head to the side a bit when looking at is was the price. I'm not sure it is a 50K truck. I'm not a basher of people's trucks and what they think they're worth but that might be a bit strong. It is a rare and unique truck (is the bed original?) and would be very cool restored.

Is there really that kind of money out there? I think there is but it's not as common as maybe 4-5 years ago when almost any piece of junk listed on eBay sold. There's still people with crazy money but they wait around until they find a deal and then jump on it at a low price. Before they would wait around watching the bottom feeders bump the prices up little by little and then they'd buy for the big bucks. Now us bottom feeders don't have the extra $$ to push the prices up. I don't see it getting any better for at least 4 years and then by then it might be too late, the damage will have been done.

Just for fun I emailed the seller for more pictures. It turns out two guys own this truck. Here's one of the pictures they sent
Every sentence in their response ended in "Man"
"This truck is special, man."
"It was built using "special" "organic" materials, man"
"It's worth every dime bag we put into it, man"

The Fast and Loud guys would offer 500.00 for it, and after giving it one of their "lipstick on a pig" fixups would maybe ask 11K for it but take the first 6K cash that came along. I wonder how long before TX or the IRS will take a look at their books like they did Boyd Coddington, with all their bragging that they deal in cash.
