Today is Jefferson Davis' Birthday. Yes we still do call it a holiday here in Alabama. I am glad that some states still recognize prominent figures in American History.

Here in Kentucky, the NAACP has recently been trying to get the statue of Jefferson Davis that stands in our capital removed and destroyed. They say it's "a symbol of racism". GIVE IT UP PEOPLE...IT'S PART OF UNITED STATES HISTORY!
