DP-Infinity

Ok, look'n at it on D's website, it says media / video. Are you say'n, this is a radio as well, or just a device to play music from another source..ie, ipod, phone..etc?

I'm wanting to "upgrade" my radio / install system, and along with tunes and diagnostics..etc, this device is a NO BRAINER.

After you boot up the Infinity you will see on the main page "entertainment". This is not a radio. However you can load music files on the 8g SD card if you want to. I don't know how you can get any quality sound out of it though for the boom boom pow feeling unless you hook up to your main stereo. It will work, but too much work if ask me just play music.

As Diane stated, this is not a replacement for a head unit. You can connect it to your actual head unit to play music through it though. If you wanted, you could also play music through the Infinity speaker as well. It would not be very impressive though, as the internal speaker on the Infinity is quite small.

Get it for the other features, and consider the media player part an additional benefit

I might be using it wrong but I could only get one song to play then I would have to click on another. I could not set up a play list. I will stick to using my iphone.
