v10 fuel issue

v10 fuel issue
i have a 2001 excursion with a v10 ,it quit going down the road .
got it home shot carb cleaner in intake and it fired ,removed fuel filter and turned ignition on and fuel pump pumped! put a new filter on (old one was pluged) and still wont run! any ideas??

Are you getting spark? What's your fuel pressure? These things you need to find out.

Also need to know if any codes are set

No codes and yes it fires on carb cleaner! There is no ports on the fuel rail I can see, so where do I get fuel Psi from?

With the 2v I'm not entirely sure. Someone will chime in I'm sure. Or google search checking fuel pressure on a v10, something will pop up

It says there is a port on the fuel rail, I can't find one!

There is a schrader valve on the passenger side fuel rail.

Here is a picture of where it is located. This is the intake manifold from my '99 with the fuel rails still installed. the left of the picture is the front. You can see the schrader valve right under the coolant tube on the upper right of the picture.

Idle should be around 35-38 if I remember correctly. Turn the key on and off 3 times should get you to almost 40 psi. If that's a no go, then you probably have a weak fuel pump

Cool thanks I had 20# so I took the tank out, holly wow that thing weighs a ton with a quarter of a tank of gas!!

Ok I got a new fuel pump on and still won't run, any other ideas?? I need my truck and can't afford taking it to a dealer!! Please any help would be appreciated!

Not that I can come up with, clear to the filter and getting good flow out the test port on fuel rail!
