I think I screwed up, Over the weekend I decided to change the Oil on my truck 2000 F250 4x4 and instead of using the Delo 400 LE or Shell oil I normally do, Auto Zone had a special on Valvoline/1 gal. SAE 15W-40 Premium Blue engine oil so I bought it. The truck starts ok and Run, it just seems like I have to Press the pedal to make the truck go. Should I drop the oil and pay the Money for the Delo oil and change it again. I will say that the oil is still really clean after about 200 miles yesterday, where as the Delo and the Rotellia turn Black right away. What do you guys think? I have 296,000 miles on it and and it is 4 X 4.
that is all i run in all my engines. the 88 now has 496,000 miles on it, and except for whatever it came from ford with, it has only had the valvoline all fleet 15-40 in it. (premium blue is the new name for all fleet)
