Been sitting a couple of months. Put a known good battery on it and nothing. No clicks no interior lights. Nothing. Cables are good also. Any ideas before I part it out?

This video will help you determine if solenoid is the problem
If you're not even getting any lights at all, your problem is before the starter solenoid. There is a fusible link at the battery side of the solenoid that is responsible for feeding the truck's entire electrical system. If it's blown, the truck will be completely dead. Check it for continuity.

So then the problem must be further down the line. After you tested the solenoid did you check to see if you have lights? I'm guessing you've already checked but for the sake of asking, have you checked to make sure things are grounded? I know you said that the cables are good but that doesn't mean they're hooked to something good.
If it has been sitting for a while and you did not change the cables then there is a good chance the ground connection is rusted, corroded, and just generally screwed up. Mine sat 9 yrs...first thing we did when reviving it was take off the grounds, wire brush everything within a 6 inch radius + the cable. (wanted to make darn sure it was grounded)
I have 12 volts on the s terminal wire with the switch in the start position. Funny thing is I also have 12 volts on the starter side of the solenoid.
If you're getting power to the 'S' terminal of the starter solenoid, then power is making it to the dash and back, and your fusible link is fine. Are you saying with the key held in START, you have 12 volts on all three terminals (battery side, starter side, 'S' post)? Yet the starter does not turn?
What terminals of the solenoid did you short, and what does this have to do with the lights? Your "troubleshooting" is all over the place and it's hard to establish the steps you're taking and the observations you're seeing.
