Power Miror Conversion?

Hi- new to board and love it so far. I've been searching in the threads and saw other offerings by A1Tony in the vendor forum, but has anyone had any experience doing a manual to power conversion for the side mirrors? I have a 2010 F150 XLT and would like to park my F150 in the garage but it barely fits with mirrors out but if they fold in, it's pretty easy. I just don't want to manually have to do it every time I go in the garage. Any thought or experiences with this is appreciated, thanks!

Build a bigger garage? I have a pole barn garage and fortunately I had 9x9 doors installed. I DO like the tow mirrors, and I think it would still fit, but I always had to fold one in on my 04 SD. There were only a few inches to play with on each side. Backing in caused a busted turn signal lens on the pass side but subscribing for responses as I might still do this. I miss the bigger mirrors. Are you considering reg or tow mirrors, if they even make power tow mirrors?
Oh, BTW- welcome aboard!

I'm just looking for regular power mirrors, not tow, as I do not really tow anything...at the same time wary of buying junk or something too complicated but aware that I'll have to install some type of switch. Thanks for your response...been doing a ton of forum trolling and I see you're a great responder to posts!

i would be interested as well. I do notice that my mirror **** does rock back as if to open/close my mirrors but it doesn't do it. See if your control **** does it as well. It may just be that we would have to swap out our non power folding mirrors to one that does with a little bit of wiring. I do not need the tow mirrors either.

I'm also interested in switching my power mirrors for power, heated. Is wiring already there?

thats on my to do list as well.

they have aftermarket ones on ebay and you will need the power fold switch.
ive taken mine apart to look at the wires and it does look like plug & play but as i examine the pin there is a difference so i wont be 100% certain till i just try. I need to look at the wires on a platinum with the powerfold then i will know .............so one of these days ill get to it.
