Hey, my 2000 f-250 superduty has recently been shutting off while going down the road. You wait a little while and the truck starts back, I'm getting a P1670 code. I'm not sure but does that point to the PCM? Also, when the truck dies, some of the lights on the dash do not illuminate such as the wait to start light, and the tow/haul light will illuminate in the "off" position. Anyone have any suggestions?
Sorry took so long to reply, but you were spot on. The fuse was not blown, but it is not making a good connection inside the fuse block. When you wiggle the fuse, I believe in the # 30 spot in the inside fuse compartment, the truck dies, or it kills power to the PCM. I didn't know what else to do, so I stuck a tooth pick under the fuse to give it better connection and the truck has ran fine since. Any suggestions?
