Electrical issue

I have a 2008 F-250 diesel, the radio preset stations buttons won't light up, line in and radio control buttons on steering wheel does not work, check all fuses and cant find anything wrong with it, can someone out there help me with an advice.

On the head unit is that the preset you talking about or the wheel?
Does the other wheel buttons work? If not I would be thinking clock spring
may be bad. If the preset lights are the ones in the head unit it may be as simple
as a failed LED/lamp in the unit it's self.
I don't happen to have the wiring diagram for you year. You may want to check and see
if the head unit is getting power from the illumination circuit. To do that your going to
have to pull the unit out some to get at the wires and check the voltage at the plug
when you turn the dash illumination on and off.
