I have 305/70/r16 nitto all terain grapplers. My problem is these tires kick stuff up all over the side oof my truck. My question is what are the best mud flaps to put on. I have the huslky molded ones but I havent had time to put them on yet. Just wanted to hear what kind you guys are running.
I have the Husky flaps on my truck and with the running boards the work well. They may not have the coverage of bigger flaps but keep gravel etc off the most of the truck. During this springs blizzard (Denver) I beat these flaps up trying to dig out of my yard and thought for sure they would rip off or break (in reverse) but they were fine. Give yourself some time to install them, about 2 hours if you use the 3M paint protection film and deal with clearance issues for drilling the holes (rear tire). Hope this helps.
I have the Ford mud flaps on the front for the extra coverage but you would have problems with rubbing with the tire size you listed when making a full turn.

Hey Tenn, do the Ford ones use the existing holes in the wheel well, or did you have to drill new ones? As I recall, there are little square holes where the fender sheet metal bends in. I was hoping someone made a mudflap that used them.
I put the DeeZee Extruded diamond tread on mine, you
might have a clearance issue with bigger tires, but it really
makes my truck loog good.
Might have some issues if I bury it, but I haven't yet.
oppy,
The Ford mud flaps do use the original holes on the fender wells. Makes for a good fit with more coverage than most flaps I have seen. If you install them I would recommend getting some 3M Scotchcal [clear adhesive] and cutting to fit under the flaps. It will keep the flaps from scratching the paint as dirt will get between them and the paint.

I have Pro Flaps on my rear tires. I couldn't install them on the front because of tire clearence. I have some lighter ones on the front. I put on the larger Pro Flaps primarily to protect my boat. These are the second pair I have owned (different truck) and I absolutly love them.
