I have a question that I hope is not too O/T for the thread, concerning cab mounting bolts.
My '46 half ton has a hole at the front corner of the seat riser in the cab but there is nothing under the floor in that area of my truck for anything to bolt to. Does anybody know what those two holes are for?
all six have springs with castle nuts and cotter pins. keep in mind that when using stainless, you may run into the issue of galvanic action taking place. dis-similar metals acting against each other. look into this.

Thanks. Sorry for hijacking the thread.
Perhaps they were used to secure the cab to the skid as they travelled down the assembly line in the plant.
Got my bolt kit and the cab is mounted to the frame. Had to come up with two more bolts. The front mounts require two bolts each and the mid and rear each take one bolt - eight total. My kit only came with six
Well, I ordered a bolt kit from Totally Stainless and it came with 8 ss springs and 4 ss 6" bolts with lock washers. I think there is suppose to be 2 springs on each bolt with a flat washer between the springs. That was the way it was when I took it apart. There were no springs on the front of mine.
