They will rotate, it's a ball and socket joint. To check them rock the wheel side to side while jackd up. You'll feel a clunking if they are bad. Verify visually where the play is... inner/outer tie rod, wheel bearing...

probley time for ball joints, tie rods, pitman arm, and a new idler arm as well with those miles. I just did all this to my f150 Mine is 4x4 for about 250.00 after the alingment. I got everything in a kit on ebay for like 180.00 then 35.00 for idler arm, then the alingment. Some says only go with moog, But i have hurd moog was not all that good anymore, I dont know how long the ebay ones will last but i am sure they will last as long as autozone one will.

lol, true dat. I will be sad to sell it. I've had her since she was a year old and it has been nothing but good to me. The body is still rock solid and no rust.... The new owner will be getting a hell of a good truck. I'm due for new man, i've had this baby for 13 years.

Yeah...I hear ya'. Mine has 240,000 miles on it and I still use as my DD in my construction business. But rust is just taking over underneath.....I can't stop it. I spent 10 hours on Saturday doing the passenger side exhaust manifold....what an absolute PITA to do. I'm going to be forced to get a newer one myself.

Go with Moog, they cost more than the house brands (autozone, o'reily's, etc.) but they are WAY better. I used the house brands at first then started using Moog. I will never go back. Ask to compare the 2 side by side and you can just see and feel the quality with the Moogs. Although if your selling it soon you might as well save yourself some money and buy the cheap stuff.
