insurance

what are you all having to pay for insurance?

my best rate ive found so far is about 55 per month for minimum liability coverage.

should the rates be higher or lower for the old '71?

I think I'm around $58 a month for 250k property damage and 500k liability, and insurance on the truck itself on my '88 and I'm 17.

I am 17 currently and I think I am between 80 to 100 dollars for liability only on my dad's insurance on his 86 F150 but it was the same when I was on our 84 B2 and I was quoted the same for my 88 F150 all 4x4. I also have discounts for good grades and more but it is still high because of our area I think.

My 99 F350 4x4 is somewhere around 80/mo now. I'm 20 with 1 accident and hold a class A CDL.

It used to be almost $200/mo when I first started driving.

163/month for my 02. 20 years old, and a speeding ticket.

Thats 1/2 of what I used to pay and cheaper than most people I know with cars. Silly CA.

I just found out why my insurance is so high it is because my dad has the top of the line for liability and like $500,000 coverage or something like that (better to be safe then sorry).

My 78 F150 is insured at right around $40 a month in Florida, with states minimum, theft, roadside assistant, and $10K personal injury, this is with USAA. I am 21 and unfortunately still on my Dad's policy, so don't know how much he is helping keep the rates down.

our rates are crazy due to the amount of collisions/claims the state see's, when you consider we only see dry pavement 6 months out of the year..the rest is nice/snow covered.

i was paying $400+ w/full coverage.

that's cheaper then i was paying, we switched to progressive and got a nice cut in premiums.
