And so did the thief who took the car.
Well I am planning my ehaust too right now and I have a 94 Bronco Which is pretty much the same thing that you have in the F-150. For my 302 I am going to get Bassani Equal length Shortie headers and their y-pipe. Then I am still trying to decide between a 50 series Flowmaster or a Gibson swept side for the muffler. but I can't seem to find anything to will tell me how they are gonna sound after the rest of the modifications are done.
PS its gonna be 3" all the way from the headers out the back in its stock location.

I just did some work on mine. I put some hedman 1 5/8 mustang headers I had on it and had my exhaust guy weld up some 2 1/4 pipes to my two into one factory (gutted) cat. He had a heck of a time on the drivers side due to the header collectors new location (would have worked flawlessly on a 2WD). Then it exits the cat into my old 3in aluminized pipe to a 3in bullet muffler and dumps before the rear axle (makes for some interesting bubbles when in water, lol). This thing actually sound suprisingly good, and mean. Now that the cat is empty I think I will go to a quieter muffler. But the headers and cat are making good power now, I raced a friends 94 Chevy 2WD stepside (350/auto) from a 50 punch on the highway and pulled two cars on him before 100mph.
some of this is copy and paste from another thread, lol
