Charging problems
I have this gremlin in my charging system, it charges fine at idle. at about 2,000 RPM it Bounces back and forth from charge to discharge, and I get going about 70 and it quits charging untill I back off the gas.
On the gas at 70 it discharges
Off the gas at 70 it charges
I had the system checked, it checks OK
This thing is driving me nuts.

Charging problems
Old/Loose/Glazed alt belt will do that.
Loose connections will do it also. Do your lights go bright and dim also? Have you put a voltmeter on your battery and watched it as you rev the engine? Are the connections to your gage good?
