tranny-fluid change
Howdy ya"ll.......again, how much trouble is it to flush out the
transmission fluid and change the filter on an automatic transmission? I
think this is going to be the next attempt to solve the cooling problem I
have been having on my 95 Ranger 3.0, before I do this I am gonna install a
new radiator(old one has a leak now) and install a new fan clutch and belt..

Hi, welcome to the FTE Ranger Forum!
I have the 5R55E auto tranny in my '98 Ranger and I think you have something very similar in yours. Here is a link to a PDF file I put together on how to drop the pan and change the filter. It has diagrams and torque settings, etc. and I even attached the Ford TSB with the Recommended Tranny Fluid Chart. It should help you out: Ranger Tranny Fluid & Filter Change
If you want to do a full flush then you should read through Mark Kovalsky's FTE Tech Article "Changing ATF Fluid in a E4OD and 4R100 Transmission". Mark's article deals with different model tranny than yours and mine, but the flushing technique can probably be utilized and adapted to what we have.
