I just wondering if anyone have done change heater core on 1988 to 1991 ford

E150 to E350 van? if does tell me how to do?

 

Its real easy. Remove the right battery, remove heater hoses, remove blower motor wire harness, remove a handful of nuts from inside firewall above passenger feet, slide heater box forward and out from under the hood

 

It's even easier than that.

I changed the Heater Core on my '89 E150 and didn't remove the Battery or Blower Wiring Harness.

Only the Hoses at the core in the engine compartment.
In the interior you have to open the heater case in the passenger legroom.

The Core itself is secured with just only one bolt

 

cobra, i believe that my method is required for non-AC models, while your method is for AC models.

 

He didn't tell if he has an AC or not.

So he can choose a method
