new dyno numbers
Well guys, I hit the dyno again today to see how the truck is doing with the 160/100s and I tried out a new water/methanol mixture. Edit-I should add that I changed the air filter for the first time last night and picked up 5-6psi of boost over where I've been since installing the turbo. I am scared for my head gaskets now.
Today I was running 55% VP M1 methanol and 45% distilled water.
New numbers- 460hp/897tq on fuel only and 518hp/995tq with the water/methanol injection.

I don't think the turbo is too big at all. It was knocking on the door of 40psi of boost on the dyno. Drive pressure stays around 5 psi higher than boost at WOT. I'm sure there is a little bit of power to be had with this setup though. On the 518hp and 514hp runs ICP dropped to 2700psi. On the 508hp and 460hp run, it had heated up a little and ICP dropped to 2400-2500psi..
Either way. I'm incredibly happy with those numbers. Most guys with 238 hybrids are running these numbers. Granted I do have the help of methanol, but 460hp on fuel is still a really strong number for 160/100s.

I'm still running the live tunes that Tony did for the 160/80s. So pulsewidth is a little long, but it still keeps the smoke down and is pretty tame in the drag tune until I pass half throttle.
The only things I might do is have Tony live tune it again and maybe an HPOP. I'm not going to bother with an HPOP unless if I'm getting twin pumps and I won't be able to get those for awhile. Oh and almost forgot, I'm going to get one of Swamps IDMs. I'm running a stock OBS IDM right now. Lol

I don't think so at all. I'm actually really surprised to be where it is. I think that 530ish would be tops and I might need to run a little hotter mix of methanol to get there. Lol.
