Awesome build dude. Who wouldn't want a diesel in a bronco? They should have come with an idi from the factory. I'm going to keep a close eye on the roller rocker progress. I was going to have some made down the road myself but you can do all the work, me copy .

couldn't we just fly cut the pistons? been done on high lift gas motors for years. i also beleive that they make them for Cummins.

1.7 rockers would clear with the stock cam, bump the lift to .431" from .380".

Torque cam would be similar to stock, maybe a little more on the intake side.

My cam would be .466"/.465" from .412"/.410"

J2 cam would be .486"/.520" from .429"/.459"

Another thing with the 1.7's though, is you would definately need new push rods, especially if you are running 910's, the stockers are not going to like the extra force.

I was talking to the shop, has anyone had O'rings installed on the block around the cylinders as well as the head gasket?

Cool! It'll be nice to see some picks. When you make sure the rockers are going to do it for ya be sure to give us copycats all the specs for the setup.

I've heard of some that have o ringed both but I've not heard the results.

Perhaps a stupid question but would those pistons fit a 7.3? Advance auto lists this for my truck
