Considering i turn 21 in a week, those both happened right around the time i was a year old, you know -- the good ole days where you could poo your pants and nobody cared

Most Campus PD in CT are actually state cops, and do carry guns. Atleast at Central, western, and Uconn they do

Ok, my wife is home and safe.
The "security" is apparently state police, however when this incident happened they ran to their cars to get the vests and guns.

Wow, I need to check into this. I was chained to the desk all day, but two of our recruiters saw emergency vehicles hauling *** to MCC for whatever it was.
The MCC police are police officers employed by the state, but they aren't the same as the State Police. One of them is a bona fide nutjob, but the rest I've met seem pretty cool. The lady in charge of them is a civilian who was on the Manchester PD for 28 years and was in the military before that. She bought me a cup of coffee last time I was there, they are great folks.
