Problems in Shifting
After driving at hiway speeds with cruise control on for an hour or so and then going to stop and go driving the up shift from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th is very hard almost violent as it pitches me forward almost out of my seat. If I stop and shut the engine off when I restart there is no problem. It appears that the computer gets confused when I drop out of cruise. BTW I use the off button to drop out of cruise.

codes will tell all but sound like the dredded mechanicle diode problem in the 01. if so tranny rebuild time or replace time. Mine was rebuilt with new torque converter and tugger kit for 1450.00. Shifts so nice it completely unreal now , I love it!!
