What kind of help are you looking for?

Ebay has middle jump-seat replacements and there are various threads here where people have documented their jump seat installation.

I'm not sure what you're asking for.

Ok, not sure why it has to be a bench seat. I haven't even seen a solid bench seat in years. Dunno if you can even get one to fit in an Excursion. All I've seen is a 60/40 split bench or a 40/20/40 split bench seat. But either way, you still haven't explained what kind of help you're asking us for.

Do you want someone to point you in the direction of a solid bench, if one even exists that can fit?

Why don't you want a "standard" 40/20/40 split bench?

I'm not trying to be rude either. I gave you a solution to your problem and you told me you don't want it. So I was trying to understand why.

Now I do. It's not me that doesn't understand, its you.

When I suggested the ebay middle jump seat, you didn't understand that was what you were asking for and what you need to make a bench seat!

Remove the middle console and replace it with a middle jump seat. The jump seat is the "20" part of the 40/20/40 split bench seat.

Stewart has you pointed in the right direction with swapping out the center console for the jump seat (the 20 seat from a 40/20/40 setup) from an F250/f350 from years 2000-2007.

Here is a link that talks a little bit about it with adjoining links.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...ench-seat.html

I will look for some more but this should get you started.

Here's a pic I pulled off of a Google image search.

That middle jump seat can be purchased on ebay and installed in place of your middle console.

THAT is the jump seat I referred to in my first post.

Here is another post with some of the steps that will need to be done on your current seats since they most likely have arm rests.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...-chairs-2.html

I am not finding too many step by steps with pictures, so if you end up doing this mod perhaps you can document it with pictures for others that may also have the need for added seats.

Since I was offering you a solution, I couldn't understand why you didn't want the jump seat.

I thought you were talkin middle ROW, Not middle seat.
Then I see this and I understand now why you misunderstood...

Than I read this....

...plus i have drank a half bottle of red lable...label?.. in the last 2 hrs.
...and things became CRYSTAL clear!

Now wtf am I gonna do about college? I still have an extra kidney I guess
Sorry, we're good, but I got nothing for you on this one!
