Need some help here.... A few times now, the engine has cut out. It seems to do this during the first few seconds after the start. Once its up and running past this point its good. I figure a thread dedicated to troubleshooting this is the best approach.
I first noticed this when it was cold but just now I thought for a minute it was going to leave me with no way home... It had been running fine for 20 minutes driving all over the place; I stopped somewhere for a minute and when I went to restart it cut out 6 - 10 times before staying lit.
I suspect, but could be wrong, that its something electrical. Reason being, I get it fired up spinning at 2k and it cuts off; not like a fuel starvation stall I dont think. Yes it has gas. While its cutting out, throttle input seems to have no effect.
I don't know... Maybe water in the gas... Just thinking. I guess I will add a little gas treatment to start with. It has done this over several tanks of fuel though. What else should I check?
