sanded the whole thing with 120 grit. took me 3 days of on and off and 2 packets of sand paper. lets just say i dont want to sand anything ever again even tho it came off pretty easy just a tedias job especialy in the tight areas
well i clean up the debis with water and wash cloth and then cleaned again with rubbing alcohol. now its ready for the liner. here is the first coat. directions say put it on thin first coat then wait 1-4 hrs for the second.
second coat was a pita. waited 2 hrs and it was not dry enough to crawl over the bed like the first coat so i had to stand on a 5 gal pal and reach over the side.

the can says you need an extra qt for a 8 ft bed but i think it can be done without. i had enough to do the thick second coat and tehn still quite a bit so i decided in the mean time trying to use it up i did the upper inner rear fenders bottom of the cab and the brand new gas tank i put on saterday. then still had some i just drizzled it all over the bed and smoothed it out. its pretty thick and rough textured. it says it can be used in light use after 24 hrs. i let it sit in the barn with heater by it all night till this morning i took it to school. still was a little soft in some spots but its hold up nice ive been working on and it really grabs you from sliding i like it. altho i dont want to do it again. i have it all of my hands and arms where the gloves and sleeves wouldnt reach.
There's a place near me called Riva truck that said they would Rhino line mine for $265 cash with a lifetime warranty. Does that sound like a decent price? This thread sparked my interest and did some calling around and that's the best price I could find.

I was quoted $700 for an 8 foot bed. I'd say $265 is pretty good.
Id advice everyone to stay away from this, and spend the dough for a professionally sprayed one
I've read and seen the same, especially with respect to the non-catalyzed products such as Herculiner. They may look okay after being applied, and perhaps will hold up, as long as the truck is garaged and not used like a truck.
You really need a catalyzed product, which is what all the professionally applied solutions are. There's something of a middle-ground solution in this regard, which would be something like Raptor. It's a 2-part product but meant more for end-user application. Here's a video...
