I want a crew cab or a Bumpside tow truck... Money isn't really an issue. However being in the 'burbs, I'm short of space to park one.

Here's a tow truck I found last night on CL: 1969 Ford Tow Truck - $3500

I have been toying with the idea of dropping a crew cab on my 70 LB and shortening the bed to create an early "Super Crew".

that tow truck is bad ...i love the look of the 67-69 250 highboys. I would love to own one. but im keeping my dent, Love it to much to sell it so the bump will have to wait. the crew cab idea is cool too. kinda different but cool

1985: First year FoMoCo offered F250's with DRW's, so your truck didn't come that way originally.

Contact martiauto.com, pass along your VIN. For a fee, Marti will provide a copy of your trucks original build sheet.

1953/79 F350 with DRW: All were sold as a Cab & Chassis, or w/a factory installed flat or stake bed.

1980: First year FoMoCo offered an F350 Styleside pickup w/DRW's. The DRW fibreglass fenders bolted to the bedsides.

FoMoCo didn't offer any beds other than these two for 1953/79 F350's w/DRW

People that wanted to install dump and utility beds, box van bodies (etc) bought Cab & Chassis which came with no "back of cab" equipment of any kind, just bare frame rails.
