Hey
I have a 2003 f250. 5.4 6 speed and wondering how hard it would be to replace the bearing with out pulling the motor. Would like to just be able to drop the oil pan?

bearing where?? in the engine or in the tranny? need more info here
Are you certain you have 6 sp?? didn't think that was available until later models
changing a bearing in the engine...pretty sure it can be done in place....but it is not going to be easy.
It would far more prudent to remove engine and repair it on a stand....1) reason being it then you can see better and ...2) IF one rod or main journal bearing is bad & odds are good there are others that are not so healthy as well. 3) lots more room to work.
