Rear End Problems
Im new to this site and was hoping someone can help me get started in right direction. 1999 E350 super duty extended Van . 3.55 Dana 60 axle code 606209-1. Pulled of my cover and found that at least 6 or more bolts that i can see have loosened and and where sheared off of the ring gear!! what would have made that happen? i seen alleast 1 chipped tooth on ring gear but cant see any other gears damaged. is this thing rebuildable or should i just look for a used rear some where? thanks for any help
