Instrument Light Question

On my 98 Expy EB, the light behind the fuel guage has burned out. I can still see the guage at night from the light from the surrounding guages, but I'd like to fix it, if it's not a major problem to get to.

Can anyone give me some pointers about what has to be disassembled to replace the light? Also, what is the model # of the bulb I have to get?

Thanks,

Instrument Light Question

You have to pull the inst. cluster out. Remove the radio trim panel and the cluster trim panel out. Be wary of the headlight switch, there is a screw behind it. Pull the **** off and there is a little spring loaded tab to pull. Slide it and the switch should come out. After removing these panels, you should be able to see all the cluster screws. Remove them, and the cluster will pull out, but remember the wiring harness. The bulb is a regular 194, but in a twist lock base. The local auto parts store should carry it. Just a tip : while the cluster is out, replace all the bulbs so you don't have to do it again. If one bulb is out, the rest should be near there lifespan. I don't know how many there are, buy yourself a dozen or so.
