Mine is beautiful to me. I plan on a tu-tone cab when and if I paint it. 9' flareside f 350. I found the box first (hard part), then bought a f350 stakebed to set it on. '92 rear axle, cummins 6at diesel, gm sm465 manual tranny. Youtube.... '59 f350 with cummins 6at'

A factory "deluxe" tu tone on a flareside is a rare bird. 1961 F 350 flareside Custom Cab. DSO?

I'd entertain a 2 tone on my short flareside as well, but I can't even come up with a single color I want to do.

I'll probably get my truck all done and it will stay in primer for a few years trying to pick a color combo :-)

My feelings are that you can paint it any color, or combination of colors you like.

Fine, till it becomes time to sell, you'll have to hope others have your same taste in colors. Serious collectors will always check the data plate paint codes and shy away from non Ford period colors. Factory deluxe two tones paint jobs on flaresides are very uncommon.
