What headers fit?
Ok, been working on the 56. Got the fatman front end with a CSB. Had to cut old exhaust and lose the headers due to the new front end. The headers came right down on the cross member. headers dumped out in the middle which caused the issue. Not the question, what headers for the CSB with the fatman mustang front end? I take it CSB is a small block ch*vy? Not likely to get too much help from some of us on that one. Not trying to be rude, but a lot of the guys on this site are into Fords in a Ford. Not trying to be offensive. I'm sure there are some guys on the site using CSB's and they will probably be along soon. Post some pics. We like pics. You do own a Ford, so welcome to the site.

Yes, I was told best way to say that was CSB so i wouldnt get kicked, lol, I cant take blame or credit for that being in the truck, it was like that when i bought it. I have got a lot of good advise from the forum already. Was hoping someone had run into same issue i have now, Thanks HaroldMac, I will do some pics when i get exhaust on it so i can move it again.

Harold, to answer that question, you might want to join the Hamb, do an introduction post and then ask them. There are a lot of jerks over there but mostly good guys. A bunch of them have the motor you are asking about and probably could point you in the right direction. Spend most of your time here though!

Call Fatman and ask them. SBC in our trucks is fairly common such that Fatman would have been thru the issue. In my case I have a SBC with the Jag IFS and I never did come up with a header that worked WITH the engine centered in the chassis. Pictures in my gallery, I used the curved back rams horns (I do like the rams horn look). In that you went Fatman, I would be very surprised if there is not a common header that works.

Thanks for the info, Had someone tell me just go with the exhaust manifolds. Got a set to redo, guess i will try that. But still might call Fatman like you said, I know they have already taken care of this same issue, Thanks HaroldMac

Hey Harold,
I know one of our members Topmoo in Houston has an SBC in his truck & he's running an aftermarket Mustang II type front suspension. He might be a good source to see what he's using for headers. Just shoot him a PM - he's a good guy.
