drive shaft length?
Hi my pal has a 1997 f350. I need to know how long his rear drive shaft is. Because we put a lift on it. And the shaft worked just fine. But he ended up breaking the centersection of the sterling 10.25. So he baught a dana 60 rear axle from me and we put it in. Went just fine. Well after swaping axles we found out the drive shaft is too short. But would still work or so we thought. It pulled apart at the slip yoke. So i need to know how long it is and if a drive shaft out of an extended cab would work? Or does he need to just have a shaft made or his lenthend. Cause when it pulled apart i think it messed up the slip yoke splines. Thanks
