The Edge pressure sending unit is an identical install for the hardware, the difference is that the wiring part is easier because it comes with plugs pre-assembled and it just clicks together. I think Bpounds has his set up to run that way, it just shows up as another PID you can choose from the list. I chose to put an Isspro gauge into the dash cover instead of buying the Edge setup to run it into my Insight CTS because cost for the Edge setup was waaaaay more than I wanted to spend. Plus there is a matching EGT gauge in the dash panel on the other side of the steering column, the cost savings for both of them was significant.
