Mityvac question

Can a Mytivac be used to flush/bleed the brakes or is a pressure bleeder the preferred method for a one person operation?

Either way would work. Some guys buy a new top and put a valve stem in to pressure the fuild threw.

Thanks for the reply. Would O'Riley have replacement brake fluid caps or is that a dealer item? Or a kit with different caps included?

I think they mit. Nothing better then OEM. If not try NAPA.

I bought a set of these for bleeding out the brakes on my trucks. It's a one man operation and no air gets back in.

I've used the MityVac for self bleeding the brakes. If you don't have an air tight seal around the bleeder screw you will suck air in fooling you into believing you are getting air out of the brake system. Make sure your hose is air tight.

I have too, and some thread sealant on the bleed valve screw will help with the air incursion, but, it's not really a big deal as it does an excellent job, air bubbles and all.
