low oil pressure?
stupid question...but assuming my oil level is ok but the oil gauge reads on the low end of normal (or just below 'normal') what is that an indication of...or is this just another gauge on this van that isn't that accurate...

I would check it with a machainal gauge. They make a tool to check oil pressure that is worth the peace of mind My 87 has been that way for a year and a half. If you are low on oil down to 2 quts. the gauge will bounce not run low.
Try changeing the sending unit
Change the oil and filter
I run lucas in everything
If it is louder than normal you got issuses or ticking
My grandfather had trubble with the gear spinnig on the shaft of the oil pump in his 6.9, but I don't know if that is a comman problem or not.
