new to this forum ,dont know how to use a computor, computors hate me,I have not worked on big trucks in a long time.I aquired a 1990 L8000 a while back. 6 speed Braizelian diesel.I just started working on the front brakes.Took right front all apart I need a brake drum ,shoes, springs and a seal.I cleaned up all the rust, bolts, painted everything with POR15 Now i need parts cant get parts.single drive axle,spoke wheels 162 inch wheel base GVW 33000 VIN 1FDXK82A3LVA25345. Can any one help me with part numbers or vendors and anything else i should do for my L8000 To make her work much much better than bran new and as designed.To keep the rust to a minimum . She has air brakes Everyone be safe. Looking foe all the help i can get thanks.

I have an 88 L8000 pretty much the same as your`s and I love it! Mine is a gravel truck and it`s been good to me in the last 15 years I`ve owned it.
I can`t help you with your questions but hopefully someone else on FTE can soon.
