I ordered my hot side CAC boot kit from RiffRaff last week, thinking my cold side was fine. Today I realized I have a significant crack where the plastic tube gets clamped to the intake.
I'm definitely going metal.
I'm looking at the following options:
1: The obvious: get the rest of the kit from Clay at RiffRaff. $172+
2: Order the Ford kit (6C3Z-6C640-AA)from Tousley. Haven't checket price yet but I know it's under $150
3: aFe Bladerunner 46-20109 off ebay for $150. This kit is 3" powder coated stainless. My main concern with this kit is the extra weight of the steel and the quality of the boots. The boots probably aren't a big deal since this is the cold side.
Ford Kit would probably be just fine also since it's the cold side.
I'm kind of leaning toward cheapest since they will all do the job.
Anyone using the AFE Bladerunner tube?
