I have a 1997 F-150 XL ext cab. The truck has been giving me a few problems with the wipers and the interior light in the cab not work. Sometimes I might be riding down the road and i will hear the ding for the seat belt being disonnected and the wipers will work one cycle.

When they are not working I have turned the wipers on the highest setting, turned the interior light on at the same time. I may see the interior lifht flash on for just a split second and then go back off. Sometimes when the interior comes on the wipers will cycle a time or two. Most all of the times that this happens the seat belt bell will ding a few times. Then just as fast as they started to work the quit and may not work for 2 weeks.

Any ideas on what it could be?

I will assume you have checked all fuses
