Replacing the stock pedestal mirrors on 2005 f150 stx

Anyone know if it is possible to replace the crappy stock pedestal with a folding mirror for my 2005 f150 stx, are all mirrors for that year of truck interchangeable? Anyone know?

Yes you can replace, they all mount to the door the same way. You may also get lucky and have the wiring in place to use the power adjust if interested

Yep I agree with danorules. I currently have the folding ones on my 05 but I am looking to upgrade them to some towing mirrors.

You can get just manual ones or pay a little more and have turn signals, puddles lights, heat etc.

Heres an example:

Those are the mirrors I just put on my truck, I got them a little cheaper from Ebay. And everything works, all the wiring was in place. I just need to add a fuse and button for the heated mirror function

Those are just the manual in my link. Price was a little higher for all the functions but these are what I'm going to add. Can you provide the link for the ones you go off eBay.

Thanks!!
