I see your outer dust seals are hanging like mine were. Reach in there where the fluid is coming out. There is a rubber ring around the axle shaft. See if it is hanging as well (inside the u-joint...not outside). That is your inner dust seal. It should be firmly attached to the axle and NOT hanging loose.
Have you driven in high water or crossed any creeks lately?

Went through some water today, but nothing high. Wouldnt even cover half my sidewall. As for rain, none.
And here comes my stupidity again. Outer dust seal hanging? Im not seeing anything hanging in the pictures, so I would have no idea what to reach for.
Ok found the one your talking about the outer dust shield is hanging. So im taking a guess the inner one would be what the axle shaft goes through, basially anther ring around the shaft. That feels like a plastic piece to, and thats not moving, seems to be in there tight.
Elwood, That is the outer. I am talking about the one on the other side of the u-joint.
I think he was just showing me what was hanging. I couldnt see it in the pictures because I didnt know what I was looking for. Didnt see it in the picture till I put my hand on it on the truck.
Good that it is still attached. It is not designed to keep fluids in or out, just to keep dirt out. Next thing to check is your hub bearing. Pull the wheel, and then grab the lugs and try to wiggle the hub back and forth, up and down. It should have NO PLAY in it. Also, when you spin it, it should stop short of a full revolution. You could also do this with the wheel on...but I prefer with the wheel off so the weight of the wheel doesn't keep the hub spinning. You can also grab that u-joint and try to move it side to side and up and down. There should be VERY LITTLE play in the u-joint.
Alright hub is not moving any direction. Up, Down, Left, Right. But now that I got the tire off and looking at that inner seal you were asking about, its not hanging, wont spin or anything, but the top part of it can be pulled out a little. Kind of like it not seated in there right. Make any sense?
It should flex and pull away when you pull on it. Gently pull it out and away from the bottom side of the axle and see if any "extra" fluid comes spilling out.
