My truck is a '64 P400 Stepvan, old bread van. Roll up window is on the drivers side and the lower window channel is rotten(rusted out) and I need a new one! Do you know how I can get a replacement?
The body was mfg. in Portland,OR.

Welcome to FTE
Your truck is a P Series Parcel Delivery. The rolling chassis, front end sheet metal, dash and windshield are Ford parts. Everything body related including the front doors and all internal parts were supplied by the body maker.
Thanks for your help. Yes I know the front end clip was furnished by Ford. And I have all literature that Ford printed then, and have spoken with the original body builder. They made a lot of bread trucks for the Pacific Northwest. I'm trying to get one part, a lower drivers side window channel that holds the glass and is part of the mechanism to roll up or down the window. It is not like regular windows, but has a chain, not gears. I may need to take it out of the truck and have someone duplicate it, but who? Its simple but who does this kind of work?
I've had this truck for over 25 yrs. This is the only thing that was custom built, for the roll up window!
I really like this truck and want to keep driving it for as long as possible. The window still works, but I want it to be right.
I'll just keep looking.
Thank You, for trying to help.
