Though I would check and see if member(s) have any comments, or suggestions in purchasing a leaf blower? Looking for a replacement for my Stihl 75 which finally bit the dust. It's only for the occasional, or weekend use. I am likely going to stay with a gas blower since an electric would not be practical, and although I was considered a battery operated type found by the time U add the charger and extra batt. they are way too expensive. I like the Stihl because it is about the only gas 2 stoke engine that offers the idle and fuel needle mixture, majority of the newer ones are preset, or have to be taken to shop where the adjustment is made with a special tool. I kinda like the idea of the 4 stokes. If the topic needs to be 'garage' related it should be noted I intend using the blower for cleaning the garage!! Any suggestions appreciated!!
The tools for the Poulin and Ryobi adjustments are available online for about $12, I had to get one when I moved to 5000ft from sea level, now of course I can't find it to adjust back.

Appreciate info., still have not decided on brand but before deciding thought I would check with local engine repair shop and see if they have an opinion on couple brands on my list. Seem customers with electric blowers tend rate them higher than the gas customers? First question will be whether the blower has an adjustment; if so, can I purchase the tool. Thanks again for the info!
Very good, actually the Hitachi is one of the blowers on my list. The Husky is another, but also looking into the Makita 4 stroke. Have you had to deal with Hitachi customer service; if so, any comments. One of my concerns is parts, and service center availability. Any comments appreciated!!

No, I have not dealt with customer service or parts yet. I hope I will not have to for quite some time.
Don't buy a Stihl 4-Mix blower. Although they're awesome when they're running, I've had no fewer than 3 fail where I work. All three were valve related--two valve guides seized and another valve broke at the head.
Haven't had any trouble out of the Stihl 2-stroke blowers (or anything else Stihl)
