The Fog lamp switch is powered by the clearance/running lamps circut. Brown wire. This is (theoretically) so you cannot use your fog lamps without the headlights being on as well.
From there it goes to the Fog Lamp Relay.
If your thinking of using the switch to run fog lamps, you cannot do it directly, you need a relay. The Factory Fog lamp switch operates the relay. The relay powers the fog lamps direct from the battery source, Yellow wire.
Both yellow and brown wires used for the factory fog lamps and/or trailer lights are on the driver's side engine compartment next to the firewall.
You can use the factory fog light switch with those lights if you wire it up with a relay, otherwise you will burn up the switch. Using the supplied fuse will do absolutely nothing to protect the switch from being overpowered.

On a side note, unless you're racing the Baja or Paris-Dakar, you don't want long range lights off-road. you want floods to provide good lighting close up. The higher the better also, so shadows don't hide obstacles as bad.
