binding brakes

I replaced my 68 drums and front end with a 73 discs and front end. Replaced all front lines and put on the prop.valve. Brake job on the rear drums completed as well. Oh, New master and booster as well bought as a pair. Problem I am having is the brakes are binding. I push the pedal down and have to pull it back up with my foot. Sometimes it doesn't release the brakes when I pull up on the pedal. Well, I thought it may be the booster adjustment but his didn't change anything. Now, I took the brackets form the junk yard and they pulled them so I didn't see how the whole system goes together but if I remember there was only one way. Is there a return spring that goes to the dash for the pedal?

Thanks,
Ken

I don't know what your problem might be but I can tell you that there is not supposed to be a spring connected to the brake pedal. Are you sure all of the air was bled from the system?
