Oil pressure

My son just bought a 97 F150 4x4 4.6L with 210,000 miles. He's 16 and loves the truck. We are planning to do a full tune up this weekend. When he is sitting at a red light or stop sign, the oil pressure gauge fluctuates and acts like its going to stall out. As soon as he takes his foot off the brake pedal it goes back to normal. Any ideas? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have also noticed the shaking at 40-45 mph, thought it was the coils and looking at other posts I think that's a good place to start.

You said any help so... It might have a leaking power brake booster. Making the motor run leaner with the brake on, this will cause a weak coil to cause a misfire.. I would look at the coils first.. As the shaking at 40-45 is also a weak coil most of the time.

And what about my shifter? The arrow is moved to the right of the gear I'm in. In park the arrow is between park and neutral.
