CAC Gurus

Hey guys. Just had egr delete, oil cooler upgrade innovative diesel 58v 6 phase Ficm, fuel pump and 100hp innovative tune done to my truck. Now in od the truck won't hold its own going uphill at 60mph. I noticed a new hissing that wasnt there before. Didn't know if its the egr delete making this new noise or if I have a boost leaked somewhere. I have only been able to get the truck to 23psi at wot. Any ideas what could cause this issue? Also seems laggy off the line till I hit 10psi but my mechanic said he had Eric choke the fuel back a little since I don't have studs yet. Thanks in advance!

Hissing, exhaust leak. Since you had the turbo out. Maybe they didn't get the up pipe sealed up.

Also, there have been times where the CAC boots haven't gone back on correctly. Also had my turbo out and didn't get the y pipe sealed right. Low boost, no noise, higher boost? Well, it sounded like a train horn.

Check for leaks.

My CAC boot just off the turbo was shredded, no tear, looked almost like a webbing. That is where mine was hissing from.

100hp tune on a non studded motor? Which tune of Eric's was that?

WAS ALL THOSE CHANGES DONE AT ONCE. iF SO THE PROBLEM COULD BE RELATED TO ANYTHING THAT WAS ALTERED OR TAKEN APART. i WOULD START WITH THE NEW HISSING NOISE AND SEE IF YOU HAVE LEAK IN THE TURBO-EXHAUST SYSTEM AND A LOW BACKPRESURE PROBLEM.. AS ALWAYS ARE THERE ANY CODES.

Yes all done at once using a shop that Eric sends trucks to. also had a new alternator put in. Spent 2400. No codes. I got a second job now so gotta find time to get it back to the shop. Guy was really nice to deal with. 1 year parts and service warranty. Told me to bring it in so he can listen to it. but still baffled at what this could be. My truck used to ne owned by Eric so was told it was getting a special tune. Idk. Mechanic just said I should be fine since not studded

you could Pressure test the CAC system

Sounds like it going back to the shop or I could give some more testss
