Ahhhhh the dreaded heat shield. Can you say Sawzall?????? I unbolted mine and could not get that Fin thing out. I sliced it from the top to the hole in the middle and bent it back and kept on going

Don't think i didn't think about it because i did, lol. But undoing the up-pipes was the money ticket

I just couldn't take anymore. 61 yrs. Old laying on top of that engine working one handed for hours on end. NO MAS NO MAS --- UNCLE. UNCLE

I do have a question about the IPR, is it common to have the IPR screen stay in the pump housing when you remove the IPR? I was just curious because it took quite a bit of effort to get the new screen on.

My screen stayed on the Ipr. It was in pristine condition and like a dum dum I threw it a way. This was before I found out they cost $40
